Four Year Illness Claims Life Of Laura I. Snook. After a four year illness from complications, Mrs. Laura Irene Snook, 74, wife of the late Daniel Snook, died at 11:55 p. m. Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. [Lana] Norman Hart, 219 Cedar street, Union City. A lifelong resident of the Union City community, Mrs. Snook was born in Jackson, Ohio township, August 7, 1872, daughter of Joseph and Katherine Sierer-Eichelberger. She attended Thomas school in Darke county and was a member of the United Brethren church and ladies' aid of the church. Surviving besides the daughter, are two other daughters, Mrs. [Ella] Clifford Conklin, of Union City, and Mrs. [Esther] Vernon Stough, of Chicago, and one brother, Ira Eichelberger, of Ansonia. [Her husband died 17 years previously.] Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Union City United Brethren church with Rev. R. B. Ditmyer officiating. Burial will be made in Teegarden cemetery, northeast of Union City. The body will be removed from the Brooks and Sons funeral home to the late residence where friends may call after 3 p. m. Saturday.
