1722 Robert Field married Mary Taylor, daughter of Samuel Taylor, on April 12, at Chesterfield Meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by William Taylor and others. [1]

1725 On May 27, Avis Holloway and Samuel Schooley, both of Chesterfield, were married at Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Sarah, John, William, and Robert Taylor, and others. [2] [3]

1730 On 2 month, 15 day, Susannah Schooley, daughter of John Schooley [and William's sister Frances Taylor] of Burlington, married Michael Newbold at Springfield Twp, Burlington County. Witnessed by William Taylor and others. [4].

1739 William Taylor voted in an election in Burlington County, New Jersey. [5]

1745 On 15 April, William Taylor, perhaps this one, was a freeholder in Chesterfield Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. [6]

1748, Aug. 25. William Taylor, perhaps this one, witnessed the will of Edwards, Owen, of Chesterfield, Burlington County, yeoman, dated his will. Eldest son, John. Plantation where I live, left me for a term of years by my father-in-law, to be let out for the benefit of my four children: Susanna, Arthur, Amy and Mary. Executor brother-in-law, Joseph English. Witnesses: Will'm Taylor, Benjamin English, Geo. Bliss. Proved Aug. 20, 1748. Lib. 6, p. 305. 1748, Aug. 27. Inventory, £211.7.4; made by Sam'll Shrouds and Will'm Taylor. Includes bond from Jno. Warren and note of Sam'l Farnsworth, Jur. [7]

1743 On Apr. 25, William Taylor Sr., of Chesterfield, Burlington County, dated his will. Wife, Rebecah. Children: William (eldest son) and others, names not given, all under age. Land on West side of the Mill road, adjoining brother John Taylor; personal property. Executors: the wife and Robert Rockhill. Witnesses: Godfrey Beck and Benjamin Busson. Proved Nov. 12, 1756. [8]
