1719 Samuel Taylor, son of Samuel and Anne Taylor, was born near 2 o'clock in the morning on 27 of month 9. [1]

1741 Samuel Taylor Jr and Rebecca Field, daughter of Ambrose Field and Susannah Decou, both of Burlington, were married 4 October, 1741. [2] [3] Names and birthdates of 10 children were recorded in the Chesterfield monthly meeting records, Burlington County. [4]

1755-64 Samuel Taylor Jr, perhaps this one or his father, was surveyor of highways in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [5]

1757 Samuel Taylor Jr was administrator for the will of Godfrey Beck of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County. [6]

1780 Marcy Taylor, daughter of Samuel Taylor, and John Staples Rogers were married on October 12, in Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Samuel Taylor and many others. [7]

1782 Samuel Taylor, of Chesterfield Township, Burlington County, farmer, dated his will on May 4. Daughter, Rebeka Wheatcraft, £3. Daughter, Amey Black, £20. Daughter, Sarah Shrieve, £40. Daughter, Mercy Rogers, £60. Daughter, Ann Taylor, £150. Sons, Thomas and Amos, plantation I live on, and the meadow which I bought of John Gardiner. Son, Amos, the house and land which I bought of Daniel Quicksel, where James Page now lives. Executors: my son-in-law, Ezra Black, and my son, Thomas. Witnesses: Edward Rockhill, William Rockhill, Nathan Rockhill. Proved July 18, 1782. [8]
