They, their parents, and their children were all born in Georgia. Eugene Scott was moulder in a truck factory, and Hattie was a laurndress. [2]

1930 On April 3, Eugene A Scott (age 49) and his wife Hattie B Scott (age 44) lived at 42 Central Avenue in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, with their children Florence B Scott (age 22), Mildred L Scott (age 20), Gertie M Scott (age 18), Marie E Scott (age 16), Ferdinand A Scott (age 14), Hattie V Scott (age 12), Ruby W Scott (age 10), and Antionette G Scott (age 8). Eugene, Hattie, Hattie's parents, and the children were born in Georgia. Eugene's parents were born in Alabama. Eugene was a moulder in a plow factory, Florence worked as an office girl in a Dr's office, and Mildred was a cook in a private home. The residence was not a farm and did not have a radio. Eugene was first married at age 25 and Hattie at age 20. A Gertrude Scott (age 75), widowed, lived at 42A Central Avenue in Rome. She and her parents were born in North Carolina. [3]
