Research Notes:

1696 The birthdate Rachel Cheshire has been reported as 1696. [1]

1726 William Everingham of Upper Freehold, Monmouth brought suit in 1726. [2]

1736 On 21 June, Rachel Everingham married Richard Harrison. [3] This could be a second marriage for Rachel.

1758 William Everingham was taxed in Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [4]

1793 The will of William Everingham, of Upper Freehold Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, mentioned the farm left by the testators mother, Rachel Everingham. [5]

The Everham Story reports that William was the immigrant ancestor who came to America in 1703 from Yorkshire, England. Information is from IGI Files. It is believed by some researchers that this William was the father of some of the Everingham boys born in the mid 1700's. [6] [7]
