1737 On 23rd day, 9th month, Mary Hopkins, daughter of Edward Hopkins deceased, married Isaac Ivins [Ivens] Jr, son of Isaac Ivins of Mansfield Twp, Burlington County. The marriage was witnessed by Isaac Ivins, Thomas Ivins, George Hopkins, Joseph Ivins, Sarah Ivins, Charles French, William Hopkins, Joseph Hopkins, Mary Bunton, Johnannah Sykes, Jane Antrum, Elizabeth Groome, Sarah Page, Abigail Page, Christian Page, Hannah Bunton, Charity Page, Margarett Williams, Richard French, John Syke, John Black, John Page, William French, Samuel Bunting, Isaac Antrum, John Middleton Jr, Thomas Scattergood, Edward Page, John Page, Jonathan Barton, Thomas Bovis, Benjamin Busson, and John Scholy. 1737/38 George Hopkins and Rachel Page declared their intentions of marriage to the Chesterfield meeting on 2nd of month 1 (March). [2]

1738 On 6th of 2nd month, at the Chesterfield meeting, George Hopkins and Rachel Page declared for the second time their intention to marry. [3] [4] [5] Their parents gave consent. [6]

1738 On 4th of 5th month, at the Chesterfield meeting, Thomas Newbold reported that things were orderly at the marriage of George Hopkins. [7]

1757 On 3 of month 3, George Hopkins had married out of unity, to his former wife's first cousin, being precautioned before marriage. [8] [9] [10] George admitted his error. [11]

1764 George Hopkins and Sarah Smith were married on March 29 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. [12] [13] [14]

1767 George Hopkins was guilty of fornication, and marrying contrary to good order. [15] [16]

1750 The inventory of William Hopkins' estate recorded debts due by George Hopkins. [17]

Edward Hopkins, of Monmouth County, was the son of George Hopkins and Rachel Page. [18]

1775 The will of George Hopkins named wife Sarah and sons Isaiah, Edward, Abel, George, John, Daniel, Charles, and Levi Hopkins. Inventory by Joseph Hopkins. The will was dated September 15, 1775 and was proved on May 17, 1776. [19] [20]

1806 Son Edward Hopkins died at Mifflin Junction, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA. [21] [22]
