1512 On May 4, Thomas Polsted, John Lane, and John Croster, executors of Robert Beckingham, executed a deed endowing a free grammer school in Guildford, Surrey. [1]

1528/9 Thomas Polsted of Stoke next Guildford, Surrey, wrote his will on March 12, naming his sons Thomas and Henry, his daughter Margaret (unmarried), his wife Agnes, and his brothers Henry and John.
