- 1894, Louis and Irma and their children lived "Place Pestalozzi 7" (Recensement de 1894, Ea 23)
- Louis and Irma had 4 children : Paul (born 7 April 1891), Amicy (born 30 April 1892), Armand (born 15 January 1894), Maurice (born 20 May 1898) (Registre des naissances, Ea 3)

The ship manifest lists Irma Chevalley as age 63, a widow, occupation merchant, able to read and write French, nationality Swiss, birth place Neufchatel, Switzerland, passport visa 112 issued in Geneva 6/12/33, address 7 Rue Pestalozzi, Yverdon, Switzerland, final destination Alton, Ill to visit son Paul Chevalley, 824 McKinley Bvd, intends to stay 3M, in good health, height 5 feet 7 inches, with Gr hair and Br eye
