Research Notes:

"Sir Luke de Poynings, Lord of Crawley; had free warren in Wrentham, Suff., &c., 1272; ob.1294." He married "Isabell d. and co-h. of Robert D'Aguillon of Perching, by Agatha, d. and c-h. of Fulk de Beaufo." [1]

Complete Peerage states, [2]

Sir Luke de Poynings, s. and h. [of Thomas],(m) presumably of age in Sep. 1252,(n) was a knight in Jan. 1265/6.(o) On 25 Jan. 1272/3 he quitclaimed to Lewes Priory all right in the church of Pyecombe (Sussex).(p) He m., before 18 Nov. 1276,(q) Hawise, widow of Reynold de Vautort, of Harberton, Devon.(r) Sir Luke appears to have been living in July 1293, but to have d. before 8 June 1294.(a) His widow d. shortly before 24 Oct. 1299.(b)
