1489 John Glover of Benynden wrote his will on June 6. He requested burial in the church of St George in Benynden. He bequeated to his wife Joan; his son Thomas; his grandson Richard Bigge, son of John Bigge and Alice his (John Glover's) daughter; his grandson John Glover, son of his son Thomas; and Thomas Watt, son of Thomas Watt; [1]
1489 The will of John Glover was proved on October 14 with administration granted to Thomas Glover, executor named in the will. [2]
1511 Thomas Glouer of Benynden wrote his will on May 30. He requested burial in the church of St George of Benenden. He bequeathed to his wife Agnes, sons Richard, Stephen, John (all under age 24), unmarried daughters (unnamed and the youngest under age 12), and nephew Richard Bygge. He mentioned household articles which belonged to his uncle James Glouer. The will was proved on November 13. [3]
