1857 Jacob Addison Brenizer, son of Ritner and Sarah Ann Brenizer, was born on April 13. He was baptized on October 11, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, York Springs, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [1] [2]

1860 Ritner and Sarah Brenizer lived in Franklin Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, with children Jacob (age 3), and Jonas (age 11 months). [3] [4]

1870 Jacob Brenizer, age 14, born in Pennsylvania, lived in Shippensburg Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Ritner Brenizer (age 45), Sarah Brenizer (age 34), Clara Brenizer (age 9), Anna Brenizer (age 3), and Ella Brenizer (age 7/12). [5] [6]

1876-1877 The student roster at Cumberland Valley State Normal School listed J.A. Brenizer of Shippensburg as a student in 1876-77 in Classical Course. "This course is designed to prepare Teachers for Classical High Schools, and students for entering the Freshman Class in any of our best Colleges." He was not listed as a graduate. [7]

1880 Jacob A. Brenizer and Flora E. Hill were married on March 16, by Reverend H J Meek in Union City, Randolph County, Indiana, by license dated March 6. [8] [9] An announcement appeared in the Union City Times. [10]

1880 Jacob Brenizer, age 23, born in Pennsylvania, married, lived in Union Twp, Randolph County, Indiana, in a household with Flora E. Brenizer (age 21). Jacob Brenizer's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Jacob Brenizer worked in planing mill. Flora was born in Indiana and her parents were born in Ohio. [11] [12]

1885 J A Brenizer (age 27), mechanic, and F E Brenizer (age 25) lived in Washington, Washington County, Kansas with baby N.C. Brenizer, (age 3). [13]

1900 Joe A Brenizer (born Apr 1856) was a music teacher and wife Flo E Brenizer (born Oct 1858) was a dressmaker living in Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida with daughter Nellie C (age 18, born Nov 1881) born in Indiana. They lived in a rented home. Flo had 1 child, still living. [14] [15] [16]

1903 "J.A. Brenizer, formerly of this city but now of Jacksonville, spent a few days with his family here this week. Mr Brenizer is a first-class musician, and is here as a member of Schubert's orchestra." [17] [Photocopy] Newspaper notice.

1905 Joseph A Brenizer lived at 125 W Bay, Jacksonville, Florida. Joseph A Brenizer's spouse was Flo Brenizer. Joseph A Brenizer's occupation was barber. [18] Sarah A Brenizer and Nellie Brenizer, perhaps his mother and daughter, lived at 316 Catherine.

1910 Joseph A Brenizer (age 53) was a barber with wife Flo (age 52) living at 320 W g Union in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida with daughter Nellie Hall (age 27). They had been married for 2 years. Joseph was a barber. [19] [20] [21] [22]

1918 Son-in-law Claude Sidney Hall was a salesman for a biscuit company living at 320 W Union, Jacksonville, FL with wife Nellie C Hall. [23] [24]

1920 Joseph Brenizer (age 63) was a barber with wife Flo (age 60) living in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida with daughter Maria (age 28, born Indiana). Claude (age 36), and Nellie (age 38), Hall lived next door. [25] [26] [27]

1929 Joseph A Brenizer lived at 8 W 20th, Jacksonville, Florida. Joseph A Brenizer's spouse was Flo E Brenizer. [28]

1930 Joseph A Brenizer (age 73) was a night watchman working at a dry goods store with Flo (age 72) living in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida with daughter Nellie Hall (age 48) and son-in-law Claude Hall from Tennessee (age 46). Claude was a salesman at a biscuit company. Nellie and Claude had no children. The residence did not have a radio. [29] [30] [31]

1932 Floe Ellen Brenizer, wife of Joseph A Brenizer, died on January 5, in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. She was a daughter of Spencer Hill and Emeline. [32] [33]

1935 Joseph Brenizer (age 78) born in Pennsylvania, was a widower and lived at 123 Byrd Ave, Jacksonville Beach, Duval County, Florida. His occupation was retired sales. [34] [35]

1940 Nellie C Hall (age 58, born Indiana) lived in Jacksonville Beach, Duval County, Florida with daughter Freeda Hall (age 17) and her father Joseph A Breniger (age 83). [36] [37]

1941 Daughter Nellie Brenizer Hall was remarried to Charles Butler in Duval County, Florida.

1942 Daughter Nellie lost her second husband on a tanker in the Gulf, which was torpedoed by a submarine on July 9.

1942 Jacob's sister, Clara Brenizer Wolfe, died in Dallas Texas, living with or near her daughter, Grace Wolfe. Jacob wrote a letter to Grace expressing sorrow at the loss. [Photocopy] Jacob Brenizer's letter to Grace Wolfe, 1942.

1943 Joe Adison Brenizer died in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. Mrs. Nellie C Butler was the informant. [38] [39] [40]
