1917 Raymond Schafer was a County Agricultural Agent for the Washington County Farm Bureau when he registered for the draft at Washington City, Washington, Kansas. He was of medium height and build with brown eyes and black hair. [1]

1920 On January 3, Raymond Schafer (age 28) and Ethel (age 26) lived at 309 West Second Street, Washington City, Washington, Kansas with daughter Martha Jeanne (age 1 10/12). Raymond was an agent for the County Farm Bureau. [2]

1930 On April 14, Raymond W. Schafer (age 39) and his wife Ethel M. (age 39) lived at 324 Jackson Street, Fort Collins, Larimer, Colorado, District 45 with daughter Martha J. (age 12). Raymond was a District Extension Agent with the Colorado Agricultural College. Raymond and Ethel were married at age 26. [3]

1940 On April 8, Raymond W. Schafer (age 49) and his wife Ethel M. (age 49) lived at 324 Jackson Street, Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado, with daugher Martha Jean (age 22). Raymond was a salesmen with Mutual Benefit. Martha Jean was a stenographer with a stationery company. The family lived in the same house in 1935. [4]

1942 On April 22, Raymond Walter Schafer registered for the draft. His residence was 324 Jackson Street, Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. His employer was Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Denver, Colorado. His height was 5-9½, weight 180, eyes brown, hair gray, and complexion dark. [5]

1975 Ethel Schafer died in April. Her last residence was Larimer, Colorado. She was born on 22 April 1890. [6]

1983 Raymond Schafer died in November. His last residence was Larimer, Colorado. He was born on 3 January 1891. [7]
