1778 "Rüttner, John, [son] of Michael Rüttner and his wife Catharine, born May 22, 1778, baptized June 14 at Reading; sponsors Sebastian Altgayer and Catharine Rüttner." [1]

1778 Sebastian Altgayer and Catharine Rüttner, both single, were married on July 2, in John Michael Sigfried's house among the Oley Hills. [2]

1779 "Altgayer, Joseph, of Sebastian Altgayer and his wife Catharine, born April 1, 1779, baptized April 11, in the chapel at Reading; sponsors Joseph Rüttner and Barbara Rüttner, maternal grandparents of the child." [3]

1781 "Altgayer, Catharine, of Sebastian Altgayer and his wife Catharine, born June 10, 1781, baptized June 20, at Reading; sponsors Joseph Rüttner and his wife Anna Maria, grandparents of the child." [4]

1781 Sebastian Algeir, shoemaker, tenant to John Rightmeyer, was taxed in Alsace Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [5] [6]

1786 Bastian Algire, cordwainer, was taxed in Alsace Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [7]

1789 Elizabeth Allgeyer, daughter of Sebastian and Catharine Allgeyer, was baptized on January 11, when 5 months old, at Saint Pauls Catholic Church, Goshoppen, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [8] [9]

1792 Anthony Allgeyer, son of Sebastian and Catharine Allgeyer, was born on March 11. He was baptized at Saint Pauls Catholic Church, Goshoppen, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [10] [11]

1797 Anna Mary Allgeyer, daughter of Sebastian and Catharine Allgeyer, was born on May 23. She was baptized on June 11 at Saint Pauls Catholic Church, Goshoppen, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [12] [13]

1800 George Allgeyer, son of Sebastian and Catharine Allgeyer, was baptized on July 13, at Saint Pauls Catholic Church, Goshoppen, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [14] [15]

1800 Sebast'n Allgeir (age 26-44) was listed in the census at Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania with Males: two (age 0-10, Anthony and Jacob), two (age 10-15, Michael and John), one (age 16-25, Joseph) and Females: one (age 0-10, Anna Maria), one (age 16-25, ?) and one (age 26-44). [16]

1801 Catharine Allgeyer and George Repplier were married on May 10, at Sebastian Allgeyer's house. [17]

1803 Joseph Allgayer, son of Sebastian and Catharine Allgayer, married Margaret Lambert on May 9, at Saint Pauls Catholic Church, Goshoppen, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [18] [19]

1805 Sebastian Allgaier purchased lot number 310 on the west side of Duke Street, from Martin and Barbara Felix (late Barbara Haffner, widow and administrator of the estate of Frederick Haffner). Dated January 23. The lot was sold to pay debts and to pay for the education of minor children of Frederick Haffner, deceased. [20]

1810 Seb'n Allgeyer (age 45+) was listed in the census at Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania with Males: one (age 0-10, George), three (age 16-25) and Females: one (age 10-15, Anna Maria), two (age 16-25, Elizabeth and Catharine?) and one (age 45+). [22]

1812 George Binder and Catharine Lora were married with witnesses Sebastian Allgayer and Peter Rittner. [23]

1818 The members of the "Congregation of German Roman Catholics now worshipping in our church called St. Peters Church in the Borough of Reading in the County of Berks" recorded their articles of association in a deed. Dated August 18. [24]:

The trustees of the said Congregation are at this time Sebastian Allgaier, J? Eichhorn, Peter Rittner, Anthony Felix, Joseph Allgaier, JG Repplier, Joseff Obold, Jacob Lambert,
Members (Jno Allgaier, Wm Rehr, Wm Fricker, Peter Rittner Jnr, Jacob Hartman, Karl Clef, Johannes Hartman, Johannes Kunig (King), Michael Hartman, Georg Rittner, Martin Felix, Solomon Felix, Frans Hartman, Jacob Felix, Simon Seyfert, George Singfried, Jacob Allgaier, Joseph Lambert)

1820 Sebastian Allgaier (age 45+) was listed in the census at Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania with one female (age 10-15, Anna Maria) and one female (age 45+). [25]

1840 The will of Sebastian Allgaier, of Reading Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, was dated December 19, 1840. The will named son Joseph, daughter Catharine Repplier, son John Allgaier, son Michael Allgaier, Jacob Allgaier, daughter Anna Maria married to Daniel Leyfert. Sons Joseph, John, and Jacob Allgaier were named executors. Witnessed by H. Rhoads and Sam'l R Schmuk. A codicil was dated April 29, 1844 stating that son Michael had died and assigning his share to his children Catharine and Sebastian. The account named heirs Joseph Allgaier, Catharina Repplier, John Allgaier, two children of Michael Allgaier, Jacob Allgaier, Anna Mary Seyfert, and George Allgaier. [26]

1846 Sebastian Allgaier died on February 27 and was buried at Saint Peters Catholic Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [27]
