1777 The birth of Joseph, son of Barsilah and Mary Scott, on 11th day, 2nd month, 1777 was recorded in the Mt. Holly Monthly Meeting records of Births and Deaths. [1] [2]

1792 Esther Dudley, child of Job Dudley and Rachel Dudley, was born on December 1 in Burlington County, New Jersey. [3]

1802 Joseph Scott, son of Barzilla Scott of Mt Holly was admitted to the Burlington meeting by certificate from Upper Springfield. Joseph was disowned by the meeting in 1810. [4]

1816 Joseph Scott and Miss Elizabeth Dudley, both of Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, married on November 7 in Gloucester County, New Jersey. [5]

1822-1882 Samuel R. Scott, b. 4, 5, 1822, d. 6, 26, 1882, suddenly, of heart disease, son of Joseph Scott and Esther Dudley. [6] [7]

1830 Joseph Scott lived in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (50 thru 59); and females: 1 (5 thru 9), 2 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39). [8]

1840 Joseph Scott lived in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29) and 1 (60 thru 69); and females: 1 (20 thru 29) and 1 (50 thru 59). Several Dudley families lived nearby. [9]

1846 Job W Folwell and Rachel D Scott [perhaps Rachel was a daughter of Joseph and Esther] were married on October 13, 1846, in Burlington County, New Jersey. [11]

1850 Joseph Scott (age 78) and Esther Scott (age 60) lived in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey with Samuel R. Scott (age 26) and Hannah R Scott (age 23). Several Dudley families lived nearby. [12] [13]

1850 Job Follwell (age 56), shoemaker, and Rachel Folwell (age 32) lived in Moorestown, Chester Twp, New Jersey with other families. [14]

1856 Joseph Scott died on January 24, 1856, Aged 77y 10m 3d, and was buried in Old Clermont Cemetery, Clermont County, Ohio now known as Boston Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery, Owensville, Clermont County, Ohio. The gravestone lies beneath some trees, beside a creek, next to that of "Job Folwell, b. Feb 6, 1794; d. Feb 20, 1858." [15]

1858 Job W. Folwell died on February 20 and was buried in Boston Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery, Owensville, Clermont County, Ohio. [16]

1860 Esther Scott (age 67, born in New Jersey) lived in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, in a household with Martha Izard (age 50). Esther Scott was a gentlewoman. Samuel R. Scott (age 38) was listed on the same page of the census. [17]

1863 The will of brother Barzilla Scott was dated 22 April 1863 in Clermont County, Ohio and was produced in Clermont County Court on 20 May 1864. Specific legacies were given to Catherine Shute of Cincinnati, widow of Milton Shute, deceased; Margaretta Babbitt, wife of Hathaway Babbitt; Elizabeth Page; Jane Johnson, the sister of Catharine Shute; Elma Fogg of Salem County, New Jersey; Rebecca S. Pickett wife of Mchain S Pickett of Salem County, New Jersey; Sarah M Wright wife of Ebenezer M Wright, of Salem County New Jersey; and Rebecca Frazee daughter of William Frazee, of Clermont County. The residual estate was bequeathed to the children (the children were named) of deceased sister Mary Garwood and deceased brother Joseph Scott. Barzilla Garmond of Burlington County, New Jersey and Jacob Olemmer of Cincinnati, Ohio were named executors. [18]

1870 Eesther Scott (age 78, born in New Jersey) lived in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, in a household with Joseph Kupple (age 40), and Hannah Kupple (age 39). Perhaps Hannah Kupple was daughter Hannah R Scott. [19]

1871 Esther Scott died on August 11 and was buried at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Moorestown, Burlington County, New Jersey. Esther Scott was born in 1793. [20] [21]
