Research Notes:
A pedigree of the Kelke family states that Robert Kelke of Kelke, Yorkshire, son of Simon Kelke and a daughter of Sir John Huntlell, Knight, married a daughter of John Paynell and that they had sons Walter and John. [1]
1269 July 13 "Yorkshire. Robert son of Robert de Kelke gives half a mark for having a writ ad terminum. Order to the sheriff of Yorkshire etc." [2]
1270 November 12 "Yorkshire. Robert son of Robert de Kelk' gives half a mark for having a writ ad terminum. Order to the sheriff of Yorkshire." [3]
