Notes for Daniel Leet and Susannah Horseman

1716 William Bunting and Abigail Horseman, daughter of Marmaduke, were married on October 11. Witnesses: Marmaduke and Sarah and Susan Horseman and others. [1]

"This Isaac Leet was a son of Daniel Leet, who died in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, in 1727; his wife was Susanna, probably a daughter of Marmaduke Horseman." [2]

1727 An abstract of the will of Daniel Leet states, [3]:

Oct. 27. Leet, Daniel, of Amwell, Hunterdon Co.; will of. Wife Susannah. Sons—Marmaduke and Isaac, both under age; daughters —Elizabeth and Abigail, an expected child. Home farm of 650 acres. Personal property. Executors—the wife and son Marmaduke. Witnesses —Samuel Ruckman, Alexander Day, Sam'l Green. Proved December 7, 1727. Lib. 2, p. 476

1727 The inventory of the estate of Daniel Leet was made on December 7. "Inventory of the personal estate, £58.7.6, incl. an old Bible and Testament 2s.; made by Daniel Howell and Samuel Green." [4]

1728/29 The account of the estate of Daniel Leet was made on February 4. "Account of the estate by the executrix, Susannah, now wife of Jonathan Paine, who has overpaid the valuation by £7.13.7, by funeral charges £8, by fees for probate £7.2.9, and debts due to Marmaduke Horseman and Thomas Lambert." [5]
