1410/11 January 20. Guy Speny and Katherine his wife granted land in Coughton to Edmund and Roger Lowe. [2]

Def. recog. right of Edmund as that that pl. have of their gift. Quitclaim from def. and heirs of Katherine to pl. and heirs of Edmund. Warranty. Cons., 100 marks of silver. (16.)

1438 December 25 "Lease. Katherine Spiney and John Throckmorton to John Frestone and John Ticull', millward, of a watermill at Coughton with land called the Neyte for 7 years for 66s. 8d. per annum. Lessees to maintain and repair the mill, stanks and banks and stones above and below water. They may lop trees in the Neyte for repairs. Christmas, 1438." [3]
