1600/01 Robert, son of Edmund Lockwood, was baptized on January 18 in Combs, Suffolk. [1]

1617 "The Last day of July was Baptized Susan the daughter of Richard Nothman and Flourance his wiffe" in Charminster, Dorset, England. [2]

1634 "Jonathan ye son of Robert Lockwood and Susan his wife borne 10 (7) 1634" in Watertown, Massachusetts. [3]

1636 "Deborah ye daughtr of Robert & Susan Lockwood borne 12 (8) 1636" in Watertown, Massachusetts. [4]

1638 "Joseph the son of Robert & Susan Lockwood borne 6 (6) 1638" in Watertown, Massachusetts. [5]

1640 "Daniel the son of Robert & Susan Lockwood borne 25 (1) 1640" in Watertown, Massachusetts. [6]

1641 "Ephraim the son of Robert & Susan Lockwood borne 1 (10) 1641" in Watertown, Massachusetts. [7]

1643 "Gershom Lockwood the son of Robert & Susan Lockwood borne 6 (7) 1643" in Watertown, Massachusetts. [8]

1652 Robert Lockwood was made a freeman of the Colony of Connecticut on May 20. [9]

A Generall Courte of Election in Hartford, the 20th May, 1652. … This Courte there was made free,—Robert Lockwood, John Tailecoat, Tho: Whittmore, Tho: Allyn, Tho: Bissell, John Hossford, John Bissell, Will: Waller.

1654 Susanna Norman gave evidence in a witchcraft case in New Haven and was present at the hanging of Goodwife Knapp. [10]

1657 Robert Lockwood was confirmed as a sergeant of Fairfield on May 21. [11]

At a Gernerall Court of Election, 21th of May, 1657. … This Court doth confirme mr. Gold to bee Leiftent, Nehe: Olmsteed & Robt Loockuet to bee Serjeants at Fairfeild.

1658 The inventory of the estate of "Robert Lockwood deceased in Fairfeild," taken 11 September 1658, totalled £464 3 s., of which £110 was "housing & lands." [12]

1660 Susanna (Norman) (Lockwood) Ferris died on December 23 in Greenwich, Connecticut. [13]

1661 On May 28 Jeffery Ferris made a bond of his property in Greenwich for security in the payment of the legacies of the children of his deceased wife Susanna. [14]

Whereas Jeffery Ferris by marriage with his wife Susanna now deceased stands engaged to pay certain legacies due to the children of Robert Lockwood deceased according to the administration entered in court 20 October 1658 and whereas he sayeth that Joseph & Daniell hath received their portions already as also that they have received the portions of Ephraim & Gershom & that they are to stand engaged to see it paid according to the court order and that he intends at the first opportunity to clear himself thereof at a court and whereas john & the three daughters portions are still in his hand, he having removed out of this jurisdiction and security being demanded, he doth by these presents bind over all his housing and accomodations that he hath in Greenwich that the legacies shall be truly paid.
