Robert Eyre, son of Robert Eyre and Joan de Padley, married Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas FitzWilliam of Mabblethorp. [1]

1472 A commission of array included the names of Nicholas Longford (knight), John Bothe, Nicholas FitzHerbert, Robert Eyre, and the sheriff had from Derbyshire. [2]

1473 (13 Edward 4) A commission to inspect and certify farms on which rents had not been paid included the names of Nicholas Langford knight, Henry Vernon, Nicholas Knyveton, Ralph FitzHerbert, Henry Stathum, John Cursum, Thomas Fraunceys, Thomas Poutrell, Robert Eyre, John Fitzbyrd the elder, Thomas Hunt, Ralph Sacheverell, John Bradshawe, Laurence Lowe, and the sheriff in the county of Derby. 1474-85 Land in High Peak in Derbyshire was farmed to Robert Eyre for lead smelting. [4]

c 1484 Robert Eyre was sheriff of Derbyshire. [5]

1496 "Grant from Robert Eyre of Padley, sen., esq., and Robert Eyre of the same, jun., esq., to Nicholas Staley of Hope, and Agnes his wife of a forestry [or tract of forest land] and lands in Hope which they held of Christofer Staley his father, with remainder to brothers and sisters.
