1743 Roger Omer Bachelor and Sarah Butcher Spinster were married on December 4 at St Katherine by the Tower, London. [1]

1759 "Roger Omer of the Parish of St. Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, Widower, and Mary Smith of this Parish, Spinster" were married on June 3 at St Paul, Covent Garden, London, "by Licence. Tho: Clark. Witnesses: Ja's Muddocks, Mary Aldwell." [2]

1769 Roger Omer acquired premises formerly known as the Three Tuns Public House in Butcher Row, St. Nicholas, Deptford. "Lease and release; Elizabeth and William Langmore to Roger Omer et al ACC/1712/63-64 6-7 Jun 1769. Deed of covenants to produce deeds; Sarah Mitchell to Roger Omer ACC/1712/65 7 Jun 1769" [3] [4]

1782 Roger Omer, cordwainer of Saint Paul Deptford, Kent, wrote his will on June 29, and it was proved on October 23 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury. [5]

In the Name of God Amen I Roger Omer of the Parish of St. Paul Deptford in the County of Kent Cordwainer being weak in Body but of a sound mind and memory blessed be God do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say Imprimis I desire that I may be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named and tha all my just Debts and Funeral Expences be paid as son as conveniently may be after my decease and from and after payment therof I give and bequeath to my Daughter Martha now the wife of Richard West of the Parish of St. John Wapping in the County of Middlesex Cordwainer the sum of ten pounds Item I give and devise to my loving Wife Mary Omer during her natural life two Messuages Tenements or Dwelling houses with Appurts thereto belonging situate standing and being in the ButcherRow in the Parish of St. Nicholas Deptford in the County of Kent and also three Messuages Tenements or Dwelling houses with the Gardens aand Appurtenancces thereof belonging situate standing and being in Back Lane Crosfield Lane and Butt Lane in the Parish of St. Paul Deptford aforesaid And Also two hundere pounds Stock in the three percent Reduced Bank Annuities and from and after the decrease of my aforesaid Wife Mary Omer I give bequeath and devise the afoesaid seven Messuages Tenements of Dwelling houses Stock &ca to my Son John Omer his heirs and Assigns for ever. Item I give and bequeath to my aforesaid Son John Omer the sum of one hundred pounds Stock in the tree percent Reduced Bank Annuities and all my wearing Apparel of all kinds whatsoever. Also I give and devise to my aforesaid Son John Omer the Lease of the house I now live in situate and lying in the Broadway in the Parish of St. Paul Deptford. Item all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Money Plate and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give to my aforesaid Wife Mary Omer and I make and ordain her my said Wife sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Roger Omer have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this twenty ninth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty two Roger Omer signend Sealed published and declared by the said Roger Omer as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us whose names are hereunder written who did each of us subscribe our names as Witnesses at his request and in his presence in the room where he then was Wm Chulkley John Padfrey Wm Banks

1782 Roger Omer cordwainer Broadway was buried on October 27 in St Paul Deptford, Kent. [6]

1782 The will of Roger Omer was proved on October 23 in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury at London, with administration granted to Mary Omer widow the Relict of the deceased. [7]

1805 Mary (Smith) Omer died before May 9. A note in the margin next to the probate record of Roger Omer's will states, [8]

On the 9th day of May 1805 Adm'on with the Will annexed of the goods chattels and credits of Roger Omer late of the parish of Saint Paul Deptford in the County of Kent Dec'd left ____ by Mary Omer Widow dec'd whilst living the Relict sole Executric and Residuary Legatee named in the sd. Will was granted to John Omer the Son and Administrator of the goods of the said Mary Omer dec'd having been first sworn duly to adm'st.
