1528 John Bakewell was rector of Staveley; patron, the King, on account of the minority of Peter, son and heir of John Frecheville. [1]
Peter Frecheville married Elizabeth, daughter of Richard Tempest. Peter Frecheville may have been the colleague of John Revell, who named Peter in his will. [2] Late in life, John Revell had meetings to arrange the marriage of his son, John Revell, to a daughter of Mr Tempest.
