This is to certify, that Sophia Delahoy, daughter of James Olivant Delahoy and Elizabeth his wife who was daughter of John & Elizabeth Omer, was born in No. 6 Deptford Bridge in the Parish of St. Alphege, Greenwich, in the County of Kent the twenty-sixth day of January in the year One thousand eight hundred and eleven at whose birth we were present Elizabeth Omer, Ann Rout. 1836 Sophia Delahoy and the Reverend Gilbert Turnbull were married at St Bride Fleet St, London, England on 16 August. [4]
1861 "Died. Suddenly, on Monday morning, 24th instant, Mrs. Sophia Delahoy, wife of Robert Daniel, Esq., of this city. Her funeral will take place on this (Tuesday) afternoon, at four o'clock, from her late residence on Hamilton Terrace, Eutaw street. The friends of the family and pupils of the school are invited to attend without further notice." [5]
