1773 Marriage Bond, Oxfordshire Archdeaconry: Billing, John of Gt. Haseley, Widr, and White, Mary of Gt. Haseley. [1]
John Billing of Great Hasely, Oxford, wrote his will on 31 Jan 1810 and it was proved 21 July 1814 in London. He mentions daughters Sarah (wife of Benjamin Baily), Elizabeth (wife of Robert Shakespear), Ann (wife of James Neighbour), Susanne (wife of James Shrimpton), Hannah (wife of Daniel Rogers), Mary, and Jane, sons Joseph, John (oldest), Richard, Thomas, William, James, Edward, Henry, and Gabriel, and wife Mary.
Great Hasely is a township and a parish in Thame district, Oxford. The township lies 3 miles W of Tetsworth, and 5¼ SW of Thame r. station; and has a post office under Tetsworth. [2]
