1669 Experience Allen, daughter of Jedidah Allen and wife Elizabeth, was born on 30th day 6 mo., 1669, at Sandwich, Plymouth Colony, New England. [1]

The names and birthdates of children of Jedidiah and Elizabeth Allen were recorded among New Jersey land records. [2]

1684-85 Jedidiah and Elizabeth Allen settled in Shrewsbury, New Jersey about this time. [3]

1686 Meribah Allen, daughter of Jedidiah and Elizabeth Allen, was born in Shrewsbury on 12th day of 9mo, 1686. [4]

1687 John Hampton of Middleton, married Martha Brown, of Shrewsbury, 1686/87 on 3 of month 1 [March], at the public meeting house of friends. Witnessed by Abraham and Cattron Brown, Jedidiah Allen, Judah Allen, and many others. [5] [6]

1687 Daniel Allen, of Sandwich, Barnstable County, Plymouth, Massachussets, made a deed concerning land secured by father George Allen on behalf of younger brother George Allen. Daniel deeded the land to brother George. Daniel had purchased the 70 acres of land from brother Judah Allen of Shrewsbury. The land was adjacent to land of Catherine Brown and Jedediah Allen. [7]

1689 Twins David and Jonathan Allen, sons of Jedidiah and Elizabeth Allen, were born in Shrewsbury on 16th day of 8mo, 1689. [8]

1691 Jedediah Allen and wife Elizabeth sold land to Robert Dennis, of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The land was in Monmouth County. Deed dated May 3. [9]

1701 June 7. Confirmation to Jedidiah Allen of Shrewsberry, holding 1-40 of 1-24 share of the Province, as part of his second dividend, of the following lots: 1, a lot in Shrewsberry between George Allen, formerly Judah Allen, the road to the Falls, Edmond Lafeter, John Haven and Exton; 2, 4 acres, N. George Allen, E. and S. grantee; 3, 8 acres, N. and W. grantee, E. Nicholas Browne, in all 106 acres [10] [11]

1711 Jedidiah Allen, of Shrewsbury, Monmouth County; dated his will on September 15. Wife Elizabeth; children Ephraim, who has son Joseph and dau. Dinah; Ralph, Henry, Jonathan, David, Elisha, Nathan, Judah, Esther Adams, Mary Wells, Patience Tilton and Meribah Thorn; legacy to Mary, dau. of John Allen. Land, 230 acres, in Pennsilvania, 80 a. in Shrewsbury adjoining Thomas White, and other real property; personal estate (twelve silver spoons). The wife executrix. Witnesses Amos White, Wm. Brinley, Sam'l Dennis, Jacob Dennis. Codicill of September 25, 1711, disposes of real estate forgotten in the will; witnessed by Sam'l Dennis, Wm. Hunt, Thomas Chambers. Proved February 6, 1711/12. 1712 The inventory of the personal estate of Jedidiah Allen (£1,454.7.5, incl. money due by his son Ralph; several bonds, £522; a silver tankard and other silver ware, £30; books, £15; a negro girl and a grindstone, together £41) was made on February 8, 1711/12, by Thomas White and George Corleis, and sworn to by Elizabeth Allen, executrix.
