1409 John Throckmorton and Eleanor Spyne were married. "Settlement by Guy Spiney and Thomas Throckmorton on the marriage of John, son of Thomas and Agnes his wife, to Eleanor, daughter of Guy and Katherine his wife, of the manors of Coughton, Throckmorton and Lench Randolf." [1]

1414 John Throckmorton was elected a member of Parliament in November for Worcesterershire in the House of Commons. He was elected again in 1420, 1422, 1432, 1433, and 1439. His biography on the History of Parliament website, [2], identifies John Throckmorton as the son and heir of Thomas Throckmorton, who was a member of Parliament for Worcestershire in 1402.

1430 John Throkmarton purchased land from Richard, Earl of Warwick. [3]

1443 October 13, John Throkmarton puchased a moiety of the manor of Spernore (appears to nearly the same transaction as number 2614 above). [6]

1445 "Will of John Throckmorton made at London 12 April 1445: To be buried in the church of St. John Fladbury, co. Worcester. My executors to place a stone of marble of such largness as to cover my father and mother and me and my wife. To Robert Russell, husband of my eldest daughter, 100 marks. [Eliz.] To Thomas Wynslow, husband of my second daughter, certain goods. [Agnes.] To John Rous, husband of my third daughter, £40. [Margaret.] To Robert Gyfford, husband of my fourth daughter, £20. [Mary.] To Thomas Grene, husband of my fifth daughter, certain silver. [Maud.] To Richard Knightly, husband of my sixth daughter, certain silver. [Eleanor.] To my younger son John all the money he owes me. Executors, wife Alianore, and son Thomas, and Rawlyn Ingoldesby. Proved 19 Apr. 1445. (P.C.C. Luffenham.)" [7] [8]

1441 October 20, "John [Throckmorton], John Vampage, William Wolashull, John Wode, and William Pulesdon, license to, to grant the manors of Pecforton, Bykeley, Oldecastell, Shokelache, aud a moiety of the manor of Malpas held of the Earl of Chester, in capite, to Hugh Cokesey, Kt., and Alesia his wife, and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to the heirs of the said Hugh."
