Homer and Theodore were both wholesale salesmen. [3]

1903 Theodore Parker Berry, age 30, died on January 13 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. He was born in Maine and was a salesman. [7] The Minneapolis News reported, "Morphine Killed Him. Theodore Berry's Death Appears Suicidal but His Friends Say Not. Theodore B. Berry, residing at 65 Highland avenue, employed as a salesman by Armour & Co., died last night at his home from what appeared to be morphine poisoning. Indications are that he committed suicide, but his friends think otherwise. The body had been embalmed before the coroner arrived and a post mortem examination would be of no use. Berry left his home as usual yesterday morning and it was supposed that he had gone to work. He was picked up later in the Minneapolis & St. Louis yards and taken to his home where he died last night. He appeared dazed and drank a great deal of water. He leaves a wife and one child." [8]

1903 John Theodore Berry was born in Hamilton, Ontario, on May 7. [9]

1960 Sarah Evelyn Berry died on July 26 in Hamilton, Ontario. "Berry, Sarah Evelyn—At St. Peter's Infirmary, Hamilton, on Tuesday, July 26, 1960. Sarah Evelyn Harte, beloved wife of the late Theordore Parker Berry, dear mother of John T. Berry, 2189 Deyncourt Dr., Burlington, and grandmother of Margaret, Ted and Ruth Berry, all of Burlington. Notes from Judith Schafer Chevalley Hiss: Sarah lived with her sister Ada for a couple of years after Ada's husband Francis Frederick Miles died and perhaps earlier when Ada's children were young. Sarah was married and widowed and had two sons. Son Joe was killed in a boating accident on Lake Erie. Later Sarah lived with her mother Eliza and sister Nettie (Mary Annette) in Hamilton. Judith Evelyn Schafer visited Nettie and Sarah in 1925. Sarah visited Judith Evelyn Schafer Chevalley in Akron on Sheldon Drive [about 1950] and gave her a set of silver spoons with an "H" monogram.
