1760 On 26 March, at the York County Orphans' Court, "Came into court, John Erick Wyanbrener a minor orphan son of Katrina Wyanbrener late of Dover Twp widow deceased aged seventeen years the thirty first day of May last and also Katrina Wyanbrener a minor orphan daughter of the said widow aged fifteen years the twelfth day of January last and chose Henry Wolf of York Town Tavernkeeper guardian over their persons and estates during their minority of whom this court approves." [1] Note: Henry Wolf, tavernkeeper of York Town, had been appointed by the court as guardian for other minors, as well. [2] Perhaps the tavern was the dwelling shown in the survey, certified in 1761, of a lot in York Town for Henry Wolf. [3]

1761 On May 26, at the York County Orphans' Court, "Came into court Henry Wolf of York Town guardian of Johann Gerlagh Wyanbrenner a minor orphan son of Katarina Wyanbrenner late of Dover Twp widow deceased aged nineteen years the thirty first day of this instant and prayed that the said Johan Gerlah may be bound an apprentice to Fredrick Lochman of York Town, blacksmith. It is considered by the court and the said Johan Gerlah Wyanbrenner is hereby bound an apprentice to the said Frederick Lochman until he shall be of the age of twenty one years. In consideration whereof the said Frederick Lochman doth covenant and agree to teach or cause to be taught the said apprentice the art or mystery of a blacksmith which he now practiseth and to furnish and allow the said apprentice sufficient meat drink apparel washing and lodging during the said term and at the expiration thereof to give him his wearing apparel and thirty shillings in money." [4]

1761 On May 29, at the York County Orphans' Court, "Came into court Christian Wynbrener administrator of all and singular the goods and chattles rights and credits which were of his mother Katrina Wynbrener, by mistake in the administration account called Christiana Wynbrener, deceased who died intestate and produced the accompts of their administration of the estate of the said deceased by which after having been examined and approved by the court it appears that there is a ballance in his hands of the personal estate of the said deceased the sum of thirty three pounds & three pence subject to distribution and the court do decree that the said Christian retain in his hands the sum of eight pounds five shillings and three farthings in full of his share or purpart of the said estate that the said Christian shall pay unto his brother Peter Wynbrener the like sum ... and that the said Christian shall pay unto Henry Wolf guardian of Johan Gerlagh Wynbrener and Katrina Wynbrener the sum of sixteen pounds ten shillings and one penny half peny for the use of the said John Gerlagh and Katrina Wynbrener for each an equal part." [5]

1766 On 30 February, Johannes Beltz was born to Philipp and Catharine Beltz. He was baptized at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County with witnesses George and Catharine Weinbrenner. [6]

1766 On 1 April, Johannes Belsz was born to Jacob and Catharine Belsz. He was baptized at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County with witnesses George and Catharine Weinbrenner. [7]

1766 Joh. Görg Adam, son of Görg (George) and Catharina Weinbrenner, was born in June. He was baptized with sponsors Anna Maria Neess and Görg Neess. [8]

1767 Johannes Benss, son of Jacob and Cathatharina Benss, was born. He was baptized in February with sponsors Görg and Catharina Weinbrenner. [9]

1766-68 George Winebrenner, perhaps this one, signed a petition "To His Excellency Horatio Sharpe, Esquire, Governor and Commander in Chief in and over the Province of Maryland" to move the Maryland government from Joppa to Baltimore. [10] [11]

1769 Catharine Belsz, daughter of Jacob and Catharine Belsz, was born on April 1. She was baptized at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County with witnesses George and Catharine Weinbrenner. [12] [13]

1771 Jacob Beltz, son of Philipp and Catharine Beltz, was born. He was baptized on January 16, at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County with witnesses George and Catharine Weinbrenner. [14]

1776 Johan George, son of George and Catharine Weinbrenner, was born on September 1. There were no witnesses at his baptism on August 2 at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County. [15]

1779 Johan Adam, son of George and Catharine Weinbrenner, was born on May 9. Nicholas Neumann and Elisabeth Mertz were witnesses at his baptism on March 13 at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County. [16]

1779 George Winebrenner was taxed in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [17]

1780 George Winebrenner was taxed in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [18] [19]

1781On 29 November, at the York County Orphans' Court, "Came into Court, Peter Winebrenner and Philip Meyer administrators ... of George Winebrenner late of York County deceased and produced an account of their administration ... there is a balance ... amounting to [£290.4.9] ... The court ... direct that the said administrators do pay unto Catharina Winebrenner the widow ... guardians of Peter Winebrenner ... as eldest son and heir ... the guardians of Henry Winebrenner and George Winebrenner and Catharina Winebrenner and Adam Winebrenner ... as four of the children of the said intestate." [20]

1781On 29 November, at the York County Orphans' Court, "Came into Court, Catharina Winebrenner widow and relict of George Winebrenner late of Heidelberg Township and prayed that guardians may be appointed to take care of persons and estates of Peter Winebrenner, aged thirteen years, and Henry Winebrenner, aged eleven years, and Catharina Winebrenner, aged eight years, and George Winebrenner, aged five years, and Adam Winebrenner, aged two years and upwards, the five minor orphan chldren of the said George Winebrenner deceased. Whereupon the court do appoint Philip Meyer and Henry Hoke, both of Hanover Township to be guardians." [21]

1783 On 20 March, Peter Winebrenner and Philip Meyer, administrators of the estate of George Winebrenner produced an account with balance £269.0.6, subject to distribution. [22]

1791 Letters of administration were granted on May 9, to Jacob Beltz to administer the German will of Catharine Winebrenner of Heidelberg Twp, York County. [23]

1800 Conrad Hoke and wife Elizabeth made a deed, to George Winebrenner, in Hanover, York County. Deed dated October 25. [24]
