c 1450 Roger, son of John Kemys, and Alice, daughter of William Arther of Bedmynster, were married. [1]

Roger Kemys of Bedmynster.=Allice d. and heire of W'm Arther of Bedmynster.
An indenture of covenantes mad betwene John Kemys and Will'm Arther of Bedmynster for a mariag betwene Roger his sonn and the d. of the said W'm, an'o 28 H. 6.

1473 At Westminster on July 1, Roger Kemys and his wife Agnes transferred land in the parish of Swainswick in Gloucestershire and Somerset. [2], abstracted as [3]

Date: One week from St John the Baptist, 13 Edward IV [1 July 1473].
Parties: William Stoweford', querent, and Roger Kemys and Agnes, his wife, deforciants.
Property: 8 messuages, 120 acres of land, 20 acres of meadow, 120 acres of pasture and 20 acres of wood in Tatewike and a moiety of the manor of Tatewike in the county of Gloucester and 1 messuage, 30 acres of land, 6 acres of meadow, 4 acres of pasture and 5 acres of wood in Atewike in the parish of Swayneswike in the county of Somerset.
Action: Plea of covenant.
Agreement: Roger and Agnes have acknowledged the tenements and moiety to be the right of William, as those which he has of their gift, and have remised and quitclaimed them from themselves and the heirs of Agnes to him and his heirs for ever.
Warranty: Warranty against Thomas, abbot of Westminster, and his successors.
For this: William has given them 200 marks of silver.

1484/85 Roger Kemys died on 3 January. [4]

Writ 11 Nov., inq. 20 Jan., 1 Hen. VII. He died 3 Jan., 2 Ric. III, seised of a third part of the undermentioned manor of Oldbury, and a messuage called 'Wildhous' in fee; and seised of other undermentioned messuages in fee-tail, viz. to himself and the heirs of his body, by the gift of John Kemys. John Kemys, aged 8 and more, is his cousin and heir, viz. son of John, his son.
Glouc. A third part of the manor of Oldbury beside Stapulton, worth 33s. 4d., held of the Earl of Warwick, who is under age and in the King's custody, as of the manor of Berton Regis beside Brystoll, by knight-service.
A messuage in Stapulton, called 'Wildhous,' worth 13s. 4d., held of the said Earl, service unknown.
Six other messuages there, worth 13s. 4d., held of the said Earl, service unknown.
A messuage in Berton-Regis beside Brystoll, called 'Gyrdelers,' worth 20d., held as of the manor Eyston, service unknown.
Another messuage there, worth 10s., held of the said Earl, service unknown.
A messuage in Wykewyke, worth 13s. 4d., held of John Bolesdun, esq., service unknown.
