The Juengling family originated from along the Palatinate in Germany. He settled in Salford Twp., Philadelphia County Pennsylvania. Twenty-six years following his 1758 death, Salford Twp. was merged into Montgomery County when Montgomery County, Pennsylvania was formed in 1784.In one of the earliest lists of land owners in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania Christian Jungling as owning 20 acres of land inSulford (sic) Twp. prior to the year 1734.
