1743 Catherine Barbara Wildensin, daughter of John Wildensin, was born on August 28, 1743. She was baptized the same year at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, York County, Pennsylvania with sponsors Elias Daniel Barnitz and Catherine Barbara Barnitz. [1]



1763 Johann Georg Mühlheim, arrived on the ship Chance at Philadelphia on November 1, 1763. He and fellow passenger, Jacob Ebersohl, became near neighbors in Manheim Twp, York County. [2] [3]

1763 Henry Jung, child of Carl Jung and Elizabetha Jung, was baptized on January 15, 1764 in St Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania with sponsors Catharina Wildasin and Henry Eckert, both single. Henry Jung was born on December 26, 1763 in Pennsylvania. [4] Perhaps this was Catharine, daughter of Johannes and Catharine Wiltensinn.

1765 Catharine Wiltensinn and George Mulheim were married about this time, perhaps.

1770 Christian, son of Johann Geo and Catharine Mulheim, was born on September 28. He was baptized with witnesses Christian Mulheim and wife Catharine on February 14, 1771 at Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania. [5]

1774, 1778 George Milheim was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County. [6] [7]

1779 George Muhlheim was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County for 80 acres, 1 horse, and 11 cattle. [8]

1780 George Muhlheim was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County for 80 acres, 1 horse, and 11 cattle. [9]

1781 George Muhlheim was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County for 119 acres, 2 horses, and 4 cattle. [10] [11]

1782 George Muhlheim was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County for 119 acres, 2 horses, and 4 cattle. [12]

1783 George Mielheim was taxed for 119 acres, 1 house, 1 horse, 3 horned cattle, and 11 inhabitants in Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [13] [14]

1785, 1787, 1788 George Milheim was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County. [15] [16] [17]

1792 George Millhime was taxed in Manheim Twp, York County for 96 acres, 3 horses, and 4 horned cattle. [18]

1793 George Muheleim was listed on the septennial census in 1793 in Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [19]

1794 The conflicting boundaries shown on surveys of tracts of land owned by George Milheim, Daniel Utz, and Tobias Steyer were discussed. Dated June 2 at the Board of Property. [20]

Daniel Utz is allowed a Patent for 218 ¾ acres Land Surveyed on Warrants dated 28 October, 1746, to Tobias Styer [Wolf's Delight], notwithstanding the reservation of 3 Acres in some of the Title Deeds to George Milheim, he agreeing to convey the same immediately on his obtaining the Patent.

1796 The will of George Mulheim, of Manheim Twp, was dated November 7, 1796 and was proved December 27, 1796, in York County, Pennsylvania. The will named wife Catharine, eldest son Christian, two children of first wife: Eve wife of Philip Dewalt and Markret wife of Philip Danner, other children [not explicitely named] of current wife: 242 pounds in all with 22 pounds distributed to each starting with Catharine, the eldest. The weaving house was mentioned. Executors: son George Mulheim and Martin Miller. Witnessed by Daniel Utz, Samuel Wildisin, and Michael Ehrhard. [21]

1798 Guardians were appointed for the minor children of George Milheim, deceased, by the York County Orphans Court on June 27. John Milheim (age 16) chose Jacob Klein and Rosina and Eve Mulheim chose Daniel Dubbs. Both guardians were of Manheim Twp. On application of George Milheim [perhaps an older brother] the Court appointed Michael Ehrhart of Manheim as guardian for Michael Milheim (age 11). [22]

1798 George Melheim and Martin Miller, executors for George Melheim, deceased, reported their account of the administration of the estate to the Orphans Court of York County on October 2. [23]

1799 Maria Magdalene, daughter of Peter Wildasin was born on August 22. She was baptized on April 10, 1800 with witness Magdalen Mulheim [perhaps a daughter of this family] at St. Matthew Church, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania. [24]

1800 Christian Milham (eldest son of John George Mulheim) lived in Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 15) and 3 (16 thru 25); and females: 3 (16 thru 25) and 1 (45 and over) [perhaps widow Catharine]. [25] [26]

1804 Son Nicholas Milheim, single man of Manheim Twp, York County, died and dated his will on February 8, 1804. His will named his siblings. The will named brother Peter with whom Nicholas was living, sister Magdalene Milheim, sister Anna Mary, brother Christian, brother George, brother Jacob, brother John, sister Rosina, sister Eve, brother Michael. The will was affirmed and letters of administration were issued on February 27. [27]

1830 Catherine Barbara Wildasin Milheim died on December 10, 1830 and was buried at Wildasin Meeting House Cemetery, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania. Catherine Barbara Wildasin Milheim was born on August 28, 1743. [28]

1768 Catharina Barbara Mulheim, daughter of Catharina Mulheim, was baptized in March, 1768 with sponsors Peter and Catharina Study. Her baptism was recorded in Pastor Jacob Lischy's records. [29]

1782 Johannes Mulheim, son of George and Catharine Mulheim, was born on February 10, 1782. He was baptized on April 21, 1782 with sponsors Johannes and Rosina Eppley at Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, Penn Twp, York County. [30] [31]

1787 Johan Michael, son of George and Catharine Mulheim, was born on March 30, 1787. He was baptized on June 25, with sponsors Michael and Margaretha Ehrhard. [Michael and Margaretha Ehrhard are buried at St. Jacob's Stone Church. The grave marker for Margaretha (8/7/1744-11/13/1818) says: "Geborne Matter" (born, Matter).]

1799 Peter Millheim was taxed as a single man in Manheim Twp, York County. [32]

1800 George, Peter, and Nicholas Milhime were listed on the septennial census in 1800 in Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [33]

1807 Peter Milhime was listed on the septennial census in 1807 in Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [34]

1809 Peter Milhime received a warrant for land on June 9 in Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [35] [36]

1810 Peter Muehlheim lived in Heidelberg Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 1 (26 thru 44). [37]

1830 Peter Millhime lived in Cumberland Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (30 thru 39). [38]

1840 Peter Meilheim lived in Cumberland Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (50 thru 59); and females: 1 (under 5), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49). [39]

1846 The will of Peter Melheim of Cumberland Twp, Adams County was dated October 10, 1842. The will was proved on July 2, 1846. The will named wife Lydia and children George, Catharine, Jesse, and Sarah (the last three were not yet adults). Peter Eppley was named administrator. [40] [41] The unrecorded will of George Melheim was listed in the index with date April 16, 1846. Perhaps this was George (son of Peter), named in the will of Peter. [42] [43] [44][45]

1850 Lydia Millhimer (age 54, born in Maryland) lived in Cumberland Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Caroline Millhimer (22), Josiah Millhimer (20), John Millhimer (6), and Louisa Millhimer (28). Several of the neighbors have the same names a neighbors of Peter Mulheim in the 1840 census. Perhaps Lydia was Peter's widow, although she was not identified as a widow in the record. [46]
