1804 Barbara Reber, widow of John Reber, deceased late of Hanover Twp, Northampton County, petitioned the court to appoint Jacob Dreisbach of Allen Twp and George Ebenreiter of Hanover Twp as guardians of Adam and Eve, minor orphans under the age of fourteen. Dated March 26. [1]
1804 The executors for the estate of John Reber petitioned the court to sell land from the estate. Dated April 11. [2] An order to sell land from the estate was dated May 7. [3] The sale of the land was announced to the court on October 17. [4]
1804 Michael Bieber, administrator for the estate of John Reber late of Hanover Twp deceased, sold land from the estate. The tract of land was in Allen Twp, now Hanover, Northampton County. The land had been granted by Robert Young to Adam Reber on November 8, 1888. In his will dated June 8, 1793, Adam Reber gave the tract to [son] John Reber. John died and the Orphans Court ordered Michael Bieber to sell land from the estate of John Reber to pay for maintenance and education of the minor children of John. Deed dated November 27. [5]
1810 The guardian account was ordered by the court on April 20. [6]
1818 The guardian account was presented to the court on August 21. The account listed payments to Abraham Newhardt guardian, Adam Reber, Elizabeth Raber, Jacob Raber, Mary Raber, and Maria Raber, among others. [7]
1818 Jacob Saeger and George Laubach, guardians of Eve Neuhardt late Eve Reber and Adam Reber, minor children of John Reber late of Hanover, petitioned the court to audit the account. [8] Auditors were appointed. [9] Another account was made. [10]
