1696 Ludwig Mohler was born on April 4. [1]

1730 Ludwig Mohler came with his family from Switzerland to Philadelphia on the ship Thistle under the command of Calvin Dunlap, from Rotterdam, last from Cowes on August 29. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

1730 Lutwig Moler was listed in the Philadelphia Council minutes, among Palatines who came on the ship Thistle, on August 29. [7]

1741 Lutwick Moolier warranted 50 acres in Earl Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on December 3. The same tract was warranted 1743 on June 1, by Ludwig Mohler, as 100 acres in Earl Twp between Cocalico and Muddy Creek. [8] [9] [10] It was patented in 1747 for 191 acres. [11] [12] An adjacent tract warranted by John Wolfsparier was patented on October 7, 1747 by Ludwig Mohler [Ludwick Moler][13] Adjacent land was owned by Francis Slozzy/Stitel, John Gear, Peter Beck, Adam Ulrick, David Sherk, Jacob Light, George Herlocker, Henry Ensminger, and Ludwick Painter.

1750 Larwick Moler was taxed for 50 acres in Earltown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [14]

1751 Ludwick Mouler was taxed in Earltown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [15]

1756 Ludwig Mohler was taxed for 120 acres in Earl Township, Lancaster County, in 1756. [16]

1754 Ludwig Mohler died, at age 57, on January 6. [17]

Research Notes:

Anna Elizabeth's last name has been reported as Belbect and as Hunsiker.

A biosketch reports [18]:

Ludwig Mohler came from Switzerland in 1730 and located in Ephrata Twp and had sons George, Jacob, and Henry. Son Jacob married and had a son and daughter. His daughter married a Mellinger. Note: Based on wills and deeds, I assume that Jacob and Henry were not sons of Ludwig, but were, instead, sons of Henry Mohler.
