To Elizabeth Lynch [see Will of William Lynche ante] my welbeloued mother one ring wt a Turks whiche she gave me before. To my welbeloued prende Wm. Brace a ring of gold wt a seale of a Redstone in hyt carved. To John my seruaunt and Katheryn the woman that kepte me in my sicknes all such apparell as laye aboute me.
I owe £5 to Nicholas Gravenor and certeyn mony to Mr. Hare the mercer and to my mother £4. I will my wyffe shall see those debts well and truly payde. And where ther dothe remayne in my hands certeyn monye by me received to the Kings maistres vse for fyrst frutys of certain benefics that is the vicarage of East Cammell in Somerset £10., the parsonage of Bradleye Magna in Suffolk £8. 16s. and the vicarage of Basingstoke in South'ton £10., I will all the same monye to be delivered immediately to Mr. Gostwycke to the Kings vse. And whereas I, John Courtop and James Courtope my brethern dyd levye a fyne to Symon Lynche of certeyn lands in Cranbrook vppon truste and in consideration of a joynter to be made to my sayd wyfe I most hartely desire the sayd Symon Lynch to make an estate of the sayd landes to my wyf for terme of her life.
