1767 Ephraim McAdams was born on May 25, [1], perhaps in Ireland or Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.

1785 Catherine Hartman was born on September 27. [2] [3]

1800 Ephraim McAdams's parents moved to Clermont County, Ohio. [4]

1801 Ephraim McAdams was foreman of the second Grand Jury of Old Clermont on May 26. [5]

1803 Ephraim McAdams was on a state [Ohio] grand jury on December 28. [6]

1808 Ephraim McAdams and wife Charity organized a Presbyterian Church that met at the Stone Court-house. Ephraim McAdams was foreman of the second Grand Jury of Old Clermont. [7]

c 1810 Charity McAdams died. [8]

1811 Catherine Hartman was listed as an early pioneer in Clermont in 1811 (from PA). [9]

1811 Ephraim McAdams and Catherine Hartman were married on August 27, in Clermont County, Ohio. [10] [11] [12] [13]

1812-1819 Catherine and Ephraim McAdams had 6 children. [14] [15]

1820 Epheim W Adams lived in Williamsburg, Clermont County, Ohio in a household with males: 5 (under 10), 2 (10 thru 15), 3 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (under 10), 3 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (26 thru 44). Christopher Hartman and John Page were listed adjacent. [16]

1820 Catharine McAdams, wife of Ephraim, died on September 25 and was buried at Williamsburg Cemetery, Williamsburg, Clermont County, Ohio. The year of death was ambiguous and might have been 1826 (which would be inconsistent with Ephraim's third marriage date). [17] [18] [19]

1825 Ephraim McAdams married Martha Boyd on March 3, in Brown County, Ohio and they had 3 children, the first born July 21, 1821. [20] [21]

1830 Ephraim McAdams lived in Williamsburg, Clermont County, Ohio in a household with males: 1 (under 5), 5 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (50 thru 59); and females: 1 (30 thru 39). [22]

1830 Ephraim McAdams [junior] lived in Williamsburg, Clermont County, Ohio in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 2 (under 5) and 1 (20 thru 29). [23]

1833 Catherine McAdams was named as a daughter in the will of Christopher Hartman. [24]

1840 Ephraim McAdams (age 60-70) lived in Williamsburg Twp, Clermont County, Ohio. [25]

1842 Ephraim McAdams dated his will on July 16, 1839. The will named several children, including daughter Mary Abynatha and sons Thomas, Andrew Jackson, William, Isaac Newton, and Joseph Warren. The will was proved on May 30, 1842 in Clermont County, Ohio. [26]

1842 Ephraim McAdams died on May 11. [27]
