1877 "Margaret daughter of Thomas Stevenson farmer of St Margarets & of Elizabeth Cromwell his wife was born on the twenty first day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy seven and was baptized on the twenty eighth of the same month and year" at St-Gilles, Lotbinière, Québec. Witnesses were James Stevenson and Diana Waters. [1]

1881 Census St Sylvestre, Lotbinière, Quebec, Canada: Thomas Stevenson, cultivateur, age 40, lived with his wife Elizabeth, age 33, and children Mary Jane, age 13, Sarah Ann, age 11, Wm Thomas, age 8, Albert, age 6, Marguerite, age 3, Ernest Alfred, age 1, all born in Quebec, and William, cultivateur, age 78, a widower, born in Ireland. The family's origin was Irlandaise and their religion was Episcopalian.

1891 Census St Sylvestre, Lotbinière, Quebec, Canada: Thomas Stevenson, cultivat., age 48, lived with his wife Elizabeth, age 42, and children Thomas, age 18, Albert, age 17, Maggie, age 14, Alfred, age 12, Alexandre, age 10, Louisa, age 6, Jemina, age 4, and Emily, age 6/12, all born in Quebec. Thomas' father was born in Eng and his mother in Ireland. Elizabeth's parents were born in Ireland. The religion of the family was Anglican.

1901 Census St Sylvestre, Lotbinière, Quebec, Canada: Thomas Stevenson, a farmer, age 60, born 16 Oct 1841 in Quebec lived with his wife Elizabeth, age 52, born 5 Janv 1849 in Quebec, and children W. Thomas, age 27, born 14 Juill 1874, Albert, age 26, born 7 Juill 1875, E. Alfred, age 21, born 28 Nov 1880, Alexandre, age 18, born 12 May 1883, E. Louise, age 15, born 12 Jan1886, Jaimmima, age 14, born 22 Mai 1887, Ida, age 10, born 12 Sept 1891, Frede, age 8, born 6 Juin 1893, and two grandchildren, ages 12 and 9, all born in Quebec. The language of the family is Enlish and the religion is Anglican.

1932 Thomas Stevenson (1840-1932), s/w Elizabeth Cromwell was buried at Saint James Cemetery, Leeds Village, Megantic County, Quebec. [2]

1935 Elizabeth Cromwell (1846-1935), s/w Thomas Stevenson, was buried at Saint James Cemetery, Leeds Village, Megantic County, Quebec. [3]

"Leeds Village (St.Jacques de Leeds) is located on Rte 269, the original Craig's Road. From Thetford Mines (Route 112) there are several ways to get to Leeds. Take Rte 267, 269 or 271, The cemetery is at the North end of town on the right side of the road heading North. The cemetery is the oldest in the region. Settlement began in 1809 and the early settlers were mostly from England, Scotland and Ireland. Saint James Anglican Church was built in 1831 and is the oldest Church of England south of Quebec City."
