1780 Joseph Bullock and Lydia Lawrie announced their intention to marry. Dated 3 of month 2, at the Chesterfield meeting. [1]

1780 Joseph Bullock Jr, of New Hanover (son of Joseph and Elizabeth), and Lydia Lawrie, of Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, dau. of James and Mary, were married at Chesterfield 16th of 3d month, 1780. Witnesses: Joseph Bullock, Elizabeth Bullock, James Lawrie, Mary Lawrie, Amos Bullock, Jemimah Thorn, George Bullock, Edith Bullock, John Abbott Jr, Jemima Bullock, Rachel Hunt, Rebecca Bullock, Lydia Wooley, Thomas Lawrie, Jacob Middleton, Hannah Middleton, James Wooley, Amy Buntons, Joseph Borden, William Wilson, Amos Middleton, Lydia Middleton, Elizabeth Bullock Jr., Nathan Borden, Joseph Lawrie, Thomas Lawrie Jr., Margaret Borden, Anthony Bullock, Hannah Cook, Elizabeth Bunting, Benjamin Linton, David Killey, Hannah Linton, William Abbott, Michael Rogers Jr. [2] [3] [4].

1784 Joseph Bullock was overseer of the roads in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [9]

1786 A certificate was granted by the Chesterfield Meeting to Joseph Bullock, wife, Lydia, and children, Mary and Susannah to Upper Springfield Monthly Meeting. Dated 5th day, 12th month. [10] [11]

1787 Charles Jones and Mary Ivins, daughter of Samuel Ivins, deceased, of Chesterfield, Burlington County, were married on November 2, at Upper Freehold, Monmouth County. Witnessed by Joseph and Lydia Bullock, and many others. [12]

1789 [Certificate? from Upper Springfield Monthly Meeting] to Chesterfield Monthly Meeting for Joseph Bullock, Jr and wife, Lydia and their three children: Mary, Susanna, and Lydia, minors. Dated 11/4/1789. [13]

1791 James Lawrie, of Upper Freehold Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, dated his will on March 3. Son, Thomas, all real estate; he to pay my daughter, Mary Lawrie, £300, and to my daughter, Lydia Lawrie, £200. Moveables to be sold and residue divided between my 3 children. Son Thomas the use of the 2 boys bound to me, to wit, Joseph and Elias Emmons. Executors: son, Thomas and son-in-law, Joseph Bullock. Witnesses: James Lawrie, Robert Montgomery, John Hankins and Jno. Lawrie. Proved Mar. 21, 1791. [14]

1792 Several Quakers made subscriptions to a school for the education of children at Crosswicks, Burlington County, New Jersey. Joseph Bullock, likely this one or his father, was one subscriber. Dated 27th day, 12th month. [16]

1805 Ann Rickey, daughter of John and Amy Rickey, married Joseph Abbott, all of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, on 7 of month 3, in Trenton New Jersey. Joseph and Lydia Bullock and many others witnessed the marriage. [17]

1818 A certificate for Joseph and Lydia Bullock (she being a recommended minister) was accepted at the Upper Springfield meeting from the Chesterfield meeting. Dated 5 of month 8. [18]

1822 Margaret Bullock, daughter of Anthony and Hannah Bullock, married Edward P Atlee in Arneytown, Monmouth County, New Jersey on October 11. Witnessed by Joseph and Lydia Bullock, and many others. [19]

1829 At the commencement of the University of Pennsylvania, Joseph Bullock was named as Master of Keble's Charity School. [20]

1822 Joseph Bullock and Joshua Satterthwaite made an agreement. Dated April 6. [21]

1824 Joseph Bullock and John Joline appraised the estate or John Hamilton, Jr. [22]

1826 Joseph Bullock and John Joline appraised the estate of William K. Hamilton. [23]

1834 Anthony Bullock and George Sykes, executors for the estate of Joseph Bullock (the younger), deceased, late of New Hanover Twp, Burlington County, sold land to Joseph Schooley. Joseph Bullock (the younger) had inherited the land from his father Joseph Bullock by will dated 9th day of 3rd month 1792 (Trenton will 34-368). Joseph Bullock (the younger) and wife Lydia had sold 2 acres of the inherited landin 1825. Joseph Bullock (the younger) dated his will March 15, 1827 and appointed brother Anthony Bullock and nephews Joseph Bullock and George Sykes as executors. Lydia Bullock executed a release of dower on the estate of her deceased husband in 1831. Nephew Joseph Bullock renounced his right of executorship in 1832. [24]
