1867 David J Huntsman (age 32) and Mandana E Reed (age 25) were married on December 24, in Franklin County, Kansas. [2]

1870 M Huntsman (age 28, born in Ohio) lived in Independence Twp, Montgomery County, Kansas, in a household with D Huntsman (age 32), and H Huntsman (age 1). [3]

1875 D. J. Huntsman (age 38), M E Huntsman (age 33) lived in Montgomery County, Kansas with C. F. (age 6), Jennie (age 2), and G. W. Reed (age 64). [4]

c 1875 An obituary for son Charles reported that the family moved to Lake City, Colorado about this time.

Charles F. Huntsman, Montrose, Dies at Grand Junction Today

Charles F. Huntsman, 78, Montrose, pioneer resident of western Colorado, died at 6 oclock Friday morning at the Morrison Convalescent home in Grand Junction.

Mr. Huntsman, father of Shirley W. Huntsman, well known Grand Junction resident, had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Ormsbee mortuary in Montrose. Burial will be in a Montrose cemetery. The Martin mortuary of Grand Junction is in charge of arrangements.

The deceased was born Nov. 29. 1868, in Kansas. He came to Lake City in a covered wagon when he was seven years of age. He grew to manhood at Lake City, and he removed to Montrose as a young man.

Mr. Huntsman followed the trade of carpenter as a young man, and he was engaged in variety store business in Montrose for a number of years. Ho had been retired from active business for several years.

Mr Huntsman married Miss Beulah Armour in 1908 at Sterling. Mrs. Huntsman died in March. 1942.

Surviving are two sons, Armour J. Huntsman, Los Angeles, Calif., and Shirley W. Huntsman, 612 North First street; one daughter, Mrs. Dixie Streib, Boulder; one brother, Guy Huntsman, Lake City; and two grandchildren.

1900 Jennie Foster (born in Kansas in Jul 1872, married for 5 years), wife, lived in Precinct 11, Montrose County, Colorado, in a household with James Foster (age 41). Jennie Foster's father was born in Indiana and her mother was born in Ohio. Jennie Foster had had no children. [20]

1910 Jennie Foster (age 38, born in Kansas, married for 15 years), wife, lived in Montrose Ward 1, Montrose County, Colorado, in a household with James M Foster (age 52), and Hazel Foster (age 9). Jennie Foster's father was born in Indiana and her mother was born in Ohio. Jennie Foster could read and write. [21]

1932 Jennie Huntsman Foster died on October 12 and was buried at Grand View Cemetery, Montrose County, Colorado. Jennie Huntsman Foster was born on July 18, 1872. [22] [23]

Mrs. Jennie H. Foster, 69, of Mead, died at Longmont Wednesday following a three years illness. Mrs. Foster, a native of Independence, Kan., born July 18, 1873, went to Mead four years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Trimble.

The deceased was a member of D. A. R. and the Congregational church at Montrose. Besides her daughter she is survived by two brothers, Charles F. Huntsman, Montrose, and Guy Huntsman, Lake City. She is survived also by three Grand-children. Funeral and Interment will be at Montrose.

A genealogy reported: Jennie Huntsman, daughter of David Huntsman and Mandana Reed, married James M Foster and had daughter Hazel Foster. [25]
