1738 Thomas Staples and Mary Rogers were married on March 25 in New Jersey, British Colonial America. Mary Rogers was a child of John Rogers. [1] [2] Thomas Staples, yeoman of Springfield, Burlington County, and Mary Rogers spinster, daughter of John Rogers yeoman of Burlington, were married. Upper Springfield monthly meeting. [3]

1740 "Cousin" Mary Staples was named in the will of her Aunt Elizabeth Middleton. [4]

1745 On 15 April, Thomas Staples, perhaps this one, was a freeholder in Springfield Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. [5]

1748 The estate of Thomas Staples Junior, perhaps this one, innholder of Burlington County, was administered on 6 December by Thomas Rogers (perhaps Mary's brother). John Deacon and John Antrum yeomen of Burlington City were bondsmen. Inventory balance was 30.7 pounds. Account payments were made June 28 1749 to Joseph Biddle and John Rogers (perhaps Mary's brother), among others. [6]
