The following note appeared in Natalie R. Fernald, "The Genealogical Exchange," Buffalo, New York: May 1906, vol. 3, no. 1, p.4. "Married at Boston (or Charlestown) July 6, 1704 William Russell and Elizabeth Pope." Russell notes say that William Russell who married Elizabeth Pope lived well into the 1700s, so this may be a different William Russell.
