1875 On June 28, Mary Crossland (age 70) lived with her son-in-law Edward McNelley (age 45) and daughter Ann McNelley (age 43) and their children James (age 22), Henry (age 20), Rose (age 15), Robert (age 13), John (age 11), Edward (age 8), Francis (age 6), and Mary (age 4) in Skaneateles, Onondaga County, New York. Mary, Edward and Ann were born in Ireland. The children were born in Onondaga County, New York. Edward was a "pedler." [2]
1913 Ann (Crossland) McNally died on November 28 in Marcellus, Onondaga County, New York, and was buried at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus, Onondaga County, New York. An obituary, citing the Marcellus Observer from the FultonHistory.com website states, [3]
Mrs Ann Crossland McNally widow of Edward McNally, died at her home in Marcellus, NY., Friday morning, November 28, 1913, aged 83 years. The greater part of her life was spent at Willow Glen in the Town of Skaneateles, but for the past 35 years she had made her home in Marcellus. She had been ill for several months. She is survived by 2 daughters and 4 sons, Mrs James Dodd of Pittsfield, Me., Miss Mary McNally and Robert, James, and Edward McNally, all of Marcellus, and Frank McNally of Niagara Falls. The funeral was held at her late home at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning and a half hour later at St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial was in Marcellus.
