1495/96 Thomas Ferres signed his will on 10 February 1495, and it was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 29 October 1498. [1]

1464 July 14, "Thomas son of Henry [Wettenhall], license to, to grant, in fee simple, the manor of Dorfold, 14 messuages, one mill, 12 carrucates of land, 30 acres of meadow, 100 acres of pasture, and 30 acres of wood in Acton, Hurdeleston, and Wich-Malbank, to Thomas Ferrers, Walter Wrottesley, and Robert Fouleshurst, Kts., John Delves, Hugh Egerton, and Adam Wetenhale, armigeri, and Richard Golburne, and Humphry Anderton.
