1778-1794 Peter Burkholder was taxed in Earl Twp, Lancaster County as a renter.
Peter Burkholder might have died in 1799 and was buried near his brother, Christian. However, further research by Davis suggests that this Peter died in Rockingham County, Virginia 1813/1816, and a second Peter Burkholder, who died in 1799, was not the brother of Christian Burkholder next to whom this second Peter was buried. [3]
1798 Margaret Huber Burkholder died in 1798. [4] Margaret was buried in Treslers Church, Virginia.
