1695 Daniel Smith married Mary Murfin on July 2, at Francis Davenport's house, Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Joshua Wright and others. [1]

1705 Joshua Wright and Rebecca Stacy, daughter of widow Rebecca Stacy, both of this meeting [Chesterfield], first declared their intention of marriage on 3 of month 3 (May). [2] [3]

1705 Joshua Wright and Rebecca Stacy made their second declaration of intention to marry, on 7 of month 4 (June), as recorded in the Chesterfield, Burlington County, monthly meeting minutes [4] [5] [6] [7] [8].

1707 Joshua Wright and wife Rebecca, a daughter of Mahlon Stacey, sold land to Timothy Baker on November 22, 1707. The land was in Maidenhead Twp, Burlington County and had been bequeathed to four daughters Elizabeth, Mary, Ruth, and Rebecca, and others, and was since released to Joshua Wright in right of Rebecca, his wife. Witnessed by Tho Lambert, William Emley, and Joseph Wright. [9]

1711 Robert Wright and Elizabeth Hyerton were married on December 20, in Burlington. Witnessed by Duglis Hyarton, Susanna Tayler, Joshua Wright, Joseph Wright, Elizabeth Wright, Samuel Wright, Rebeckah Wright, Mary Wright, Samuel Taylor, Elizabeth Fretwell, Benjamin Wright, Sarah Wright, Rachel Curtis, Frances Scholey, John Scholey, and others. 1715 Joshua Wright was a member of a survey party of Indian land in West Jersey: "May 17. Samuel Green, Joshua Wright and I set out for Pahauckqualong. On our way we crossed the main branch of Paquassing [Pequest] and about three miles on the other side in Pahuckquapath [Johnsonsburg] we met with John Cramer and Marmaduke Watson who went into the woods the night before to seek lands and now returning Marmaduke went back with us * * We went as high as Tohockonetcong River [Paulins Kill] being a branch of the Delaware a considerable big stream. Marmaduke pitched a lott there. I would have surveyed It but was obstructed by the Indians. We viewed the land and lodged there that night." [13]

1729 Thomasin Pancoast, daughter of Joseph Pancoast of Mansfield, and Joshua Wright, son of Joshua Wright of Chesterfield, were married on April 16, at Upper Springfield meeting, Burlington County. Witnessed by Joshua and Rebecca Wright and others. [14]

c 1731 Rebecca's brother Mahlon died intestate and his five sisters were named in the estate proceedings: "Rebecca, by name of Wright, by deed duly executed 5th 1st mo., 1742/3, Rec. E. F., 4286, conveys a part of her share to Joshua Wright, Nathan Wright, Mahlon Wright, David Wright, Isaac Knight, and Elizabeth, his wife, late Elizabeth Wright, John Terry, and Rebecca, his wife, late Rebecca Wright, children of the said Rebecca Stacy ; the remaining part she continued seized of, and intermarried with Thomas Potts.". 1732 Joshua Wright, perhaps this one, made inventory, dated October 28, for the estate of William Saxton of Freehold, Monmouth County, with Thomas Doughty and John King. [16]

1737 Joshua Wright, perhaps this one, made inventory, dated August 29, for the estate of Joseph Steward of New Hanover Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [17]

1740 Joshua Wright, of New Hanover Burlington County, yeoman, dated his will on 7th day, 8th mo (October). Son Joshua has already received his portion. Sons Mahlon, Nathan, and David land, being dividends of 4th and 5th divisions after payment of 200 acres to Jonathan Wright which I borrowed. Daughters Elizabeth Knight and Rebecca 600 acres in Nottingham which adjoins upon Assunpink at Bear Swamp. Plantation adjoining Joseph Steward's and widow Fowler's as surveyed by Isaac DeCow. 200 acres upon Wading River in Little Eggharbour and 590 acres in Nottingham near the Falls Pond at the mouth of Watson's Creek. Brothers Robert, Thomas, and Samuel Wright and John Steward to see that my land is properly divided. 10 grandchildren 1 pound each. Wife Rebeckah remainder of estate and executrix with son Mahlon, brother Samuel Wright, and John Steward. Witnesses John Bower, Jos Steward, Wm Emley. Proved March 31 1741. [18]

1741 The inventory of the estate of Joshua Wright showed value £555.15.1, made by Isaac Horner, Benjamin Kirby. W'm Lawrie, Sam'l Emley, dated March 27. [19]
