c 1776 Israel Scott served as a private in the Revolutionary War in Hunterdon Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [1]

1799 Israel Scott and Mary his wife of Nottingham, Burlington County sold land to George Anderson Jr on April 17. Israel had purchased the land, called "Burned Swamp", from Rebecca Elizabeth Cadwalader. [2]

1830 On 26 February, articles of agreement for the estate of Israel Scott, of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Division among his widow, Mary Scott and all his children: John Scott; Elizabeth (Scott) Warman, wife of William Warman; Sarah (Scott) Pearson, wife of John W. Pearson; Rachel (Scott) Probasco, wife of William Probasco; Ruth (Scott) McKinsey; Charity (Scott) Bowne; Phebe (Scott) Occurman (Ackerman); Samuel Scott; Joseph Scott; Robert Scott; & Mary (Scott) Schooley, wife of James Schooley. April 1st 1830. There were several tracts called the Plantation. One was purchased of Elias Phillips of Maidenhead on 2 January, 1787. The second was called Burnt Swamp, purchased from Rebecca Cadwalader on 20 October 1792. [3] [4]
