Notes for Thomas Omer and Jane

1623 Thomas Omer wrote his will on June 17, bequeathing to Richard Omer, Roger Omer, Elizabeth Omer, Jane Omer, and Sara Omer children of his brother Roger Omer, to his grandsons Richard Thrume(?), son of Richard Thrume(?) and Thomas Tanner(?) son of Thomas Tanner(?), his godson Stephen Newman, his cousin Edward Newman, each of his sister Newman's three daughters at marriage, and John Archard(?) his wife's son, the residue to wife Jane executrix, Richard Thrume(?) overseer. In the name of god amen the sevententh day of June 1623 I Thomas Omer of the parishe of Minster in the Isle of Thanet in the county of Kente beinge very ill in body and of good & perfect Remembrance I prayse god do ordaine & make this my laste will & testament in maner & form folowinge Firste I give & bequeue my soule into the handes of almighty god my maker & Redemer hopinge in Jesus christe to have my sinnes freely & Clearly forgiven me my body I give & bequeue unto the earth from whence it came to be buried at the Discrestion of my Executrixe in Decente & Christian burial Item I give & bequeue unto twenty of the pooreste people of the parishe of Minster xs to be payde unto them by my Executrixe within twoo monthes next after my desces also I give & bequeue unto Richard Omer the sonne of Roger Omer ten pounds to be paid unto him by my Executrix within on wholl yeare next after my desses provided allwais my will & mind is that it shall be put out for him to his use until he be of the age of on & twenty yeares & then he to have it wth the profit & ife the said Richard Omer shall departe this world before he be of the age of on & twenty years then my will & mind is that mony shall be geven vnto Sara one of the Daughters of Roger Omer allso I give & begueue unto Richard Thrume(?) the sonne of Richard Thrume(?) my grand child five pounds of goode & lawful mony of England to be paid unto him by my Executrix within on quarter of a yeare next after the deses Also I give and bequeue unto Tohames Tanner(?) the sonne of Thomas Taner(?) my grand child five pounds of good & lawfull mony of England to be paid him wthin on quarter of yeare next after my wife Jane her deses also I give & bequeue unto Stephen Newman my god sonne five pounds of good & lawful mony of England to be paid hime wthin on yeare next after my deses by my Executrix also I give & bequeue unto Edward newman my cossen five pound to be paid him by my Executrix within on year next after my deses also I give and bequeue unto every on of my sister newmans three Daughters to eche of them five pounds apece of good & lawfull mony of England to be paid unto them at their several dayes of marriage or when they shall be of the age of eighteen yeares which shall happen first also I give & bequeue unto John Archard(?) my wifes sonne twenty pounds of good & lawful mony of England to be paid unto him at the discresion of my Executrix also I give & bequeue unto Roger Omer Elizabethe Omer Jane Omer & Sara Omer my brothers children to eche of them two _____ to be delivered unto them within on month next after my Deses by my Executrix I give & bequeue unto the ... of the parishe of Minster ... all my goods yet unbequeued my Debts & legasies beinge paide I give and bequeue unto Jane my wife whom I do ordaine & make my wholl & soll Executrix of this my laste will & testamente & I ordaine & make Richard Thrumme my over seeer & I give him for his paines three shillengs & fouer pence.
