Richard Omer and Alice Stoughton were married after Alice's uncle Richard wrote his will on 4 December 1555 as he bequeathed money to Alice to be paid at the time of her marriage.

c 1556-1558 Children John and Ellen may have been born before the date of the earliest surviving baptism records in the register of St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent.

1564/65 Thomas, son of Richard Omer, was baptized on February 22 in St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent ("Februarye ... Thomas sonne of Rychard Omer baptized xxijth"). [2]

1565 Ellen, daughter of Richard Omer, was buried on April 4 in St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent ("Aprill ... Ellene d: of Richard Omer buryed iiijth"). [3]

1566 Isanna, daughter of Richard Omer, was baptized on June 7 in St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent ("June ... Isanna d: of Richard Omer baptized vijth"). [4]

1568/69 Roger, son of Richard Omer, was baptized on February 20 in St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent ("Februarye ... Roger sonne of R. Omer baptized xxth"). [5]

1583/84 Son John Omer was buried on Jauary 12 at St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent. ("Januarye ... John Omer howsholder buryed xijth" [6] ("Johes Omer pater familius sepult January xij") [7]

1588 Richard Omer of the parish of Ashe next Sandwich wrote his will on August 23, naming his wife Alice, the daughter Elizabeth of his deceased son John, his sons Thomas and Roger, and his daughter Isanna. [8]

1588 Richard Omer was buried on December 6 in St. Nicholas, Ash, Kent ("December ... Rychard Omer howsholder buryed vjth"). [9]

1588 The will of Richard Omer was proved on December 18 in the Consistory Court of Canterbury, with adminstration granted to Alice, relict, and Thomas Omer, executors named in the will. [10]

1591 Thomas Stoughton named Thomas and Roger Omer and Isanna Newman children of "my sister Omer" in his will.
