"Dea. Nehemiah Abbot, born in England, settled in Ipswich, Mass., where he was living in 1659. He was commoner there in 1664 and 1678; and was made a freeman in 1669. He was a deacon of the church in Topsfield in 1686. He married Mary How, in Ipswich, Dec. 14, 1659; and died March __, 1706-7. His wife survived him. " [1]
