1789 Elias Metcalfe and Sally Pickett received a license to marry, dated on December 29, 1788, in Fauquier County. Sally's father, William Sanford Pickett, gave consent. [1] They were married by John Monroe on Jan 7, 1789. [2]

1798 Sally Metcalf was named as a daughter in will of William S Pickett. William Metcalf witness. [3]

1850 Eli Metcalfe (age 81, born in Virginia) lived in District 1, Fleming County, Kentucky, in a household with George Bruce (age 49), Sabina Bruce (age 46), Sarah Bruce (age 20), William Bruce (age 17), Lucy Bruce (age 15), Elizabeth Bruce (age 10), and Martha Bruce (age 6). Eli Metcalfe was a farmer. [4]

1859 Eli Metcalfe died on December 20 in Fleming County, Kentucky. [5]
