Notes for Joseph Gardiner and Catharine Ridgway

1723 On 14 of month 3, Joseph Gardiner and Catharine Ridgway, daughter of Thomas Ridgway Sr, were married. [1] [2] [3]

A biosketch reports [4]:

Catharine, daughter of Thomas Ridgway, Sr., in the year 1724 married Joseph Gardiner, and immediately after the marriage they left Egg Harbor, he being a resident of some other section.

It is said that Joseph Gardiner died, and his widow married Ephraim Tomlinson, the noted Quaker minister.
