Notes for Jacob Ridgway and Isabel Schooley

1721 On 28 of month 2, Isabel Schooley was born to parents John and Frances Scholey. [1]

1747 On 21st of 8th month, Preserve Brown, of Philadelphia, and Mary Sykes, were married at Upper Springfield, Burlington County. Witnessed by Isabel Scholey and others. [2]

1750 Isabel Scooley was reported at the Burlington meeting as married to Jacob Ridgway. Dated on 4 of June (month 4). [3] [4] [5]

1794 Isabel, daughter of John and Frances (Taylor) Schooley was named as the wife of Jacob Ridgway in the Compiler's notes after the will abstract of Jacob Ridgway. [6]

Jacob, son of Thomas Ridgway, Sr., married and settled at Springfield, Burlington county, N. J., and had seven children, whose names were Samuel, Andrew, Jacob, Susannah, Mary, Phebe and Elizabeth. Jacob Ridgway made his will in the year 1794, and it is witnessed by Beulah Ridgway, Edith Ridgway and John Ridgway, who might have been his sisters and brother, or nieces and nephew. Samuel Ridgway married and seems to have died early in life, leaving a son Samuel. Susannah, daughter of Jacob Ridgway, married Joseph Brown. Elizabeth, daughter of Jacob Ridgway, married George Craft. Phebe, daughter of Jacob Ridgway, married Eliakim Willits, Sr., of Little Egg Harbor.
